Dvdland - Deceptive
This site does not make the buyer aware that some of the DVD's they are offering are not yet available. They then charge you to split up your order.
I ordered a DVD on the 15th October which I have not yet received, and it is now nearly the end of March. I have made the mistake of putting through another order, and have just received the same story - the DVD's which I ordered a week ago, assuming they would arrive in time for the Easter weekend, will not even be in store for more than a week after that, not counting how long postage will take.
I have therefore requested that the order be cancelled, and am being given the runaround. This is unprofessional in the extreme, and while I accept that I might not have checked the release date carefully enough at the time, it was not made clear that these were pre-orders and not yet in stock, otherwise I would not have ordered them.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $400.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Dvdland Cons: Condescending tone and refusal to cancel orders.
