Dvdland - DO NOTE HAVE THE DVD AS CLAIMED BUT WON'T GIVE REFUND
I bought a dVD online, thinking this company had it is stock or that it would arrive within a week. I paid a total of almost $43 for the dvd and express post.
I needed the classic film for a uni assignment with a set deadline. The status showed as 'back order 1 week). Then I was told it was 'unusually' out of stock and it would take longer. Then it would be arriving almost one month after I ordered it.
They will not issue a refund and claim that it takes '10 working days' to process a refund. It seems that this policy is just to force the customer to accept the goods, even though they are no longer of use. This seems to be a lot of fraud and bad business practice, frankly.
The DVD was expensive and will be useless to me as the deadline for my assignment has passed. I've had to buy the film elsewhere (where it cost far less!), and will now have to frantically complete my assignment and lose a percentage for being late.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $43.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

Ordered a dvd and was told it would arrive in a week. Nearly two months later, still waiting, so I requested a refund.
Suddenly got an email saying it was "in despatch" and "should arrive soon", but if I wanted to cancel my order I could exchange for a "store credit" - no refund. I think this "company" is seriously dodgy and I will never order from them again.
